MONADNOCK SUMMER LYCEUM

A free summer speaker series held on Sundays in July and August in Peterborough, New Hampshire. 

Now in its 57th season, the Monadnock Summer Lyceum brings people together each summer to listen, learn, and share ideas. The 2026 season runs July 5 through August 23, with programs held on Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM at the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church. A half-hour of live music by area performers precedes the program's featured speaker, followed by a light reception. 

We are pleased to share the full 2026 program below and look forward to welcoming friends, new visitors, and all who are curious about the stories, voices, and ideas shaping our world.
